About

Creator:
Perfect in pink is a one woman owned small fashion store located in Australia. All pieces are designed by creator Katie , also known as @sxcorpionhoe. For 5 years I have hand sewn my own garments from home, wether that be creating my own pattern or reworking second hand materials. I’ve always had a love for alternative, dark fashion that looks like the living dead, especially since my mum spent time in goth clubs during the 80s.
My aim to is bring back the nostalgic early 90s/ 2000s goth style, ethically while still remaining as affordable as possible. I work based on a small profit in aim to sell more products to those wanting to dress apart of the community.
Ethical clothing to me means more than just fair working rights and production. It’s also about the intention behind my store, my creation process and promotional work. I aim to ensure every single aspect of my shop is done with love and passion. This means I don’t design with the intent of financial gain, I don’t abuse my way into the business market and I ensure photoshoot are a fun safe environment.
Manufacture:

All items are designed by creator Katie and then sent to our family run manufacture to be produced. I aim to create as little samples as possible- this way no material goes to waste. To do this, we work on reworking the garments and discussing the vision before sewing.
